Is an evidence-based advocacy initiative that focuses on promoting political commitment for quality family planning programs that is reflected in increased allocation of resources especially from own source. AFP’s second phase is a five-year initiative (2013-2017) endeavors to contribute to the achievement of the vision of the July 2012 London Summit on Family Planning commonly known as the Family Planning 2020 Vision (FP2020). That vision is to enable at least 120 million new women and girls in some of the world’s poorest countries to use contraceptive information, services and supplies without coercion or discrimination by the year 2020.
